This policy explains how MedicalGoGo Ltd ("MedicalGoGo", "we", "us"), which operates the DrQScore service, collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website, request a content assessment, or interact with a DrQScore badge. MedicalGoGo Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described below.
1. Who we are
DrQScore is a service operated by MedicalGoGo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 10459956), registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZB697174. Contact: hello@drqscore.com.
2. The personal data we collect
a. When you contact us or request an assessment
If you email us or submit content for assessment, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, email address, employer, and the content and details you send us.
b. Badge / widget analytics
When a DrQScore badge is displayed on a website, our servers record limited, non-identifying technical data about each badge load, namely the referring website (host) and an approximate country derived from network information. This is used to measure badge usage. The badge does not set advertising or tracking cookies on visitors' devices.
c. Standard server logs
Like most websites, our hosting records standard technical logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
3. How and why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide our assessment service and respond to enquiries — performance of a contract, or steps prior to a contract.
- To operate, secure and improve the website and badge, including usage analytics — our legitimate interests in running and improving the service.
- To comply with legal obligations, including accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Where required, with your consent — which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Sharing your data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example hosting and email providers) under appropriate contracts, and where required by law. Published assessment scores and the associated content details are, by their nature, publicly displayed.
5. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including the duration of an assessment's validity and any legal retention periods, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.
